According to sources, Camphor oil have been celebrated for centuries because of its healing properties and calming benefits.  Until recently, this sweet minty smell has made its way to topical skincare products.  Camphor oil contains antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties that are super beneficial for irritated skin and its cleansing properties have been much appreciated.

Be mindful that it is a powerful oil, therefore, always use carefully. For aromatherapy purpose, add 4-5 drops of the oil to the diffusers and by topically, just add 2-3 drops with carrier oil.

• Camphor oil is an alternative of the well-known vapor rub which is  most effective in relieving night cough, congestion and sleep difficulty in children with upper respiratory tract infections. You may try placing few drops of Camphor oil in a bowl of hot water. Hold your head over the bowl and cover your head with a towel as you inhale the vapors. 

USAGE GUIDELINES

It is always safer to dilute essential oil before applying directly to skin to avoid allergic reaction.

1. Diffuser – Add 4-6 drops per 100ml of water
2. Skincare – 2-4 drops to 10ml of carrier oil/lotion/cream
3. Body massage – 5-8 drops to 10ml of carrier oil
