HOW TO FADE DARK CIRCLES, WRINKLES, PUFFINESS? MOST AFFORDABLE AND RESULT IN 2 WEEKS

WHAT CAUSES DARK CIRCLES UNDER YOUR EYES?

Dark circles are quite common and usually don’t imply a serious health concern. However, their appearance still causes a lot of stress among people especially women.  Though you have taken good care of your skin and have a good and healthy complexion but with the appearance of those darkened areas under the eyes will unfortunately make you look old, haggard, tired and dull which is quite frustrating! According to aesthetic doctors, there are few possible causes for dark circles and puffy eyes:

Poor Blood Circulation

Lack of sleep, same goes to staring at TV or computer screen for long hours. can affect circulation.  All these can worsen the hollowness on the eye socket, making dark eye circles apparent and looks darker.

Skin texture

The skin in the under eye area is naturally thin and delicate, and the thinner and more fragile it becomes, the more visible the blood vessels beneath it will appear. Therefore, the thinner the skin, the more translucent it is and prominent blood vessels and underlying muscles are more likely to show through, resulting in a purplish appearance.

Ageing

Another cause of dark circles is the natural aging process. As we age, we tend to lose fat and collagen, therefore our skin becomes thinner.  This can make the reddish-blue blood vessels under our eyes more prominent.  Sometimes these physical changes cast shadows that can appear to be dark circles under the eyes.  Similarly the aging process commonly develop puffy eyelids or hollows under eyes.  When fluid accumulates under the eyes, the weakened skin sags and results in puffy eyes and eye bags. We have to keep providing nutrients that boost collagen production and the overall health of our skin. But don’t worry; every problem, there’s a solution.

Fluid retention

Fluid retention will cause blood to pool underneath your eyes and produce a darkened appearance. Reasons that your body might retain fluids could be  high salt diet, hormone levels fluctuating, certain medications that stimulate fluid retention, and other health reasons.

DO DARK CIRCLES GO AWAY WITH SLEEP?

Having a proper sleep cycle will reflect on your skin by making it look healthier and reducing the appearance of puffy eyes and dark circles.Make sure you’re getting seven to eight hours of sleep each night and practicing good sleep hygiene. Try to work on getting enough uninterrupted sleep so you can look rested and refreshed.  Sometimes the way we sleep could be the real culprit. If your sleeping position tends to be lying on your side or your belly, your face will fold into the pillow and put strain around your eyes. Try to sleep on your back, which will prevent wrinkles from potentially forming on your face. You may also want to consider sleeping with an extra pillow when your eyes are extremely puffy, since elevating your head will get the fluid to move away from your lids. Try extra pillows under your head to lessen the puffiness of fluid pooling in your lower eyelids.

However, if a good night sleep doesn’t help, there are a number of other methods — both natural and medically prescribed that people use to lessen the appearance of dark circles, eye bags or wrinkles under their eyes. Although not all of these treatments are permanent, with maintenance and consistency they will definitely help.

HOW TO REMOVE DARK CIRCLES PERMANENTLY AT HOME?

The skin under the eyes is very thin and could be irritated by trying chemical products. Let’s explore some natural home remedies which will surely help you lighten the skin tone under your eyes, without harming your skin in any way!

Cucumbers

Cucumber is a very popular remedy for dark circles. The cucumber contains a lot of antioxidants which help in soothing and hydrating the eyes, therefore, improving dark circles and puffiness.  Rich in vitamin C and folic acid, cucumbers are known to ‘wake up’ the eyes and get them looking refreshed and brightening. Simply peel of a cucumber and cut slices of moderate thickness then chill the slices in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Place a slice of cucumber on each of your eyes for 10-15 minutes, rinse with cool water, then pat dry. You can try it very often like 2-3 times in a day.

Tea bags

Caffeine from the tea contains powerful antioxidants that can stimulate and replenish blood flow and simultaneously reduce fluid retention. The polyphenols and catechins will also help in reducing dark circles by constricting dilated blood vessels. Just steep two caffeinated tea bags for 5 minutes in hot water, then chill them in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Next, place the cooled tea bags on your eyes and let them sit for 10-15 minutes. Finish off by rinsing your eyes with cool water, then pat dry.Try it twice a day for effective results.

Vitamin E oil

Vitamin E is a powerful under-eye protector mainly because of it antioxidant as well as anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties. These properties are effective in fighting off free radicals and softening the appearance of hyper-pigmentation and wrinkles around the under-eye area.  It also promotes cell regeneration which can help give a more youthful and help minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  Its daily use can help rejuvenate the skin by giving it a younger and healthier look and not forgetting Vitamin E nourishes the skin from within by making the nerves stronger.

Before bed every night, apply a drop of Vitamin E oil (a little goes a long way) to your under eye circles, gently massaging it into the skin. Leave this on your skin overnight and in the morning, rinse with warm water. Applying Vitamin E to your under-eye area at least two or three times a week will help promote skin by reversing the signs of aging and discolouration. However, you will need to apply it persistently in combination with your regular cream as it will be better or you can use it alone.

Sweet almond oil

Sweet Almond oil contains oleic acid which provides nourishment to mature skin. It contains lots of vitamins, and mono-saturated fatty acids which help in lightening of skin tone. Just the vitamin E itself present in this plays a major role in overcoming dark circles. The emollient properties of this help your skin balance water retention and dehydration together with its anti-inflammatory and healing properties which are extremely good at minimizing puffy eyes.  Every morning and night, just take 3-4 drops of Sweet Almond oil and massage the oil into your dark circles.   Do it for at least 2-3 minutes in circular motions so that the oil gets absorbed in the skin.

Virgin Coconut oil

The good news here is coconut oil may be able to help with hereditary  hyperpigmentation – a common skin condition which is typically hereditary.  Skin around the eyes is delicate, and thin skin can make dark circles look more prominent. Studies show that plant oils, like coconut oil, can thicken the skin barrier by increasing cell turnover. And Coconut oil has moisturizing properties that will improve the protective barrier of the skin and reduce inflammation. It is thought that this combination of effects may improve the overall quality of the skin below the eyes and reduce the appearance of dark circles.  In the evening, after cleansing your face thoroughly, use a cotton ball and gently massage the oil in a circular motion into the skin below each eye until absorbed into your skin. This oil is best used at night since it makes the skin appear greasy. Discontinue use of coconut oil if you experience any signs of irritation. Cold-pressed, Virgin Coconut oil is considered the best, most effective and healthiest form of the oil.

Rose hydrosol

Rose hydrosol is refreshing, rejuvenating and can practically be used on all skin types.  It is also a mild astringent and can be used as an effective skin toner too. Rose hydrosol also helps you get rid of puffy eyes or dark circles.  It can lighten the skin tone and provides a soothing and calming effect. Hyaluronic acid (HA)

Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring substance in the skin known for its amazing capacity to hold onto 1,000 times its own weight in water molecules.  Unfortunately, as we age, the amount of Hyaluronic Acid our skin cells produces begins to decrease significantly – this is when fine lines, wrinkles, tones and rough texture starts to appear, and skin tends to look dull and dehydrated but hold on…… HA acts as the ultimate drink for your skin.  HA is a natural, powerful substance that works as a magnet for moisture, helping your cells retain as much of it as possible so that your skin feels and appears hydrated, plump and healthy.  Therefore, nourish the skin around your eye area with HA will improve dark circles, eye bags, puffiness, fine lines and wrinkles, make your under-eye skin more elastic.

Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide)

Vitamin B3 Niacinamide is a skin care ingredient worthy of your attention because of its versatility for almost any skin care concern and skin type. Niacinamide is a water-soluble vitamin that works with the natural substances in your skin to help visibly improve uneven skin tone, soften fine lines and wrinkles and diminish dullness of the skin.  Further to this, it can also lighten age spots, dark spots and pigmentation.  You can use niacinamide-containing products around your eyes or DIY your own eye cream or serum with this as an ingredient. Some might find applying a moisturizer or eye cream with niacinamide helps improve the appearance of under eye circles and may soften the look of crow’s feet.  Niacinamide enables this delicate area to retain skin-smoothing moisture and resist loss of firmness. Eye care creams with Niacinamide can be applied topically morning and evening to reap the full benefits.

IS COFFEE GOOD FOR DARK CIRCLES?

Coffee is a rich source of antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties which not only helps lighten dark circles and wrinkles but also tighten skin and reduces puffiness and bags under the eyes. The caffeine content in coffee helps improve blood circulation which can further help decrease inflammation that results in dark circles and under eye bags. Tannin, a plant compound naturally present in coffee, helps tighten the skin, reduces eye bag and draw out fluids which can reduce puffiness as well as fine lines and wrinkles.

An easy method which works for your eyes, let’s see below here – coffee scrub for your eyes. Just take one tablespoon of a good organic coffee powder and one tablespoon of honey and mix the paste well. Honey as you know, is a natural moisturizer that helps in absorption of caffeine in the skin for reducing the dark circles and wrinkles. Apply the mixture around your eyes especially on dark circles. Leave it overnight or after 30 minutes, if you experience any irritation.

Another simple method is using coffee mixed with coconut oil which helps lighten, tighten and smoothen the skin under eyes. Coconut oil moisturizes the under eye area and keeps it soft and smooth. It prevents the under eye area from drying thus reducing wrinkles and patchiness. Dry skin is prone to early wrinkles and coconut oil prevents it. The eye mask with regular usage moisturizes the under eye area, keeps it soft and supple, reduces puffiness and eye bags, reduces dark circles, prevents early wrinkles and reduces the appearance of present wrinkles etc.

There are only 2 things that you need – 2 tablespoons of good organic ground coffee powder and 2 tablespoons of Virgin coconut oil. Just put the 2 tablespoons of coffee powder into a bowl. Then add in 2 tablespoons of the coconut oil. Give the mixture a good mix making sure the coffee powder and coconut oil are well incorporated.

Now, cleanse your face really well and apply the mixture or eye mask that you have just prepared under your eyes. Keep it for 15 minutes and remove the excess coffee powder since you have to massage in the coffee oil. Massage the under eye area with your ring finger gently for about 3 to 4 minutes and let it sit for 20min. Wash it off using a mild cleanser and rinse off properly.

Do try these remedies and get rid of those unsightly dark circles for good!
